Default From Red/Gold to Red/Black

Some of you might remember my post a few weeks ago asking whether my car looked good like it was or whether I should change all the gold for black. Well after seeing a photoshop I was convinced the black looked better, so here's the proof! I'm well happy with it, and I really think my scoob looks good now!!! Now more cosmetic plans now, its exactly how I want it.

How the car was:

How the car is now:

Hope you all agree with me

Looks very, very mean.

I was looking at those wheels too, but my scoob is black with red flaps and wasn't sure if this would be a bit ott, what do you think ??

I can't decide between 17" or 18" though.

I've been well happy with the wheels, they really look nice!
Not sure how the ride would be on 18's, I'm pretty happy with 17's due to them being quite a bit cheaper and tyres also way cheaper.
Next on my list is stiffer springs as the body roll as standard is really annoying.

PS: Black with black wheels and red flaps sounds a really good combo to me! What model have you got??
If you get them, make sure you post up some pics

Sorry about the late reply Fanton, haven't had a chance. I think your right about black wheels on a black scoob would look mean, but difficult to imagine without seeing it. I thought your wheels were 18"s they look bigger than 17"s, what size tyres are they ??

Cheers,

ps its a jdm 96' wrx, standard except for the unknown jap suspension (hard)and the fujitsubo exahust.

Monkey, the tyre size is 205/40/17
I wanted 45's as thats what I had before, but I haven't really noticed any problems with the 40's. I think thats the profile you're supposed to have anyway on 17's.

The boot has been delocked and smoothed and the rear bumper is the smoother later version bumper. That was all done by the previous owner but it certainly looks smart.

Steve

Andyes the tyres are 205's...........should I have 215's then???

Well I take it they are team dynamics, so yes you could have had 215's
