I finally got round to cleaning the car, just before going to get the new rear wing (pics of that to follow):

I'm not sure that splitter is c/f, but as it's a Type 25 it will have been fitted by Powerstation and sourced from Scott Lowe.

I saw build no. 023 (black) up there a while ago and that has the c/f wing - it looked superb

I'm using the full Maguiars range - OK so far but the wax can get a bit swirly if you try to do it in direct sunlight. www.meguiars.com

The carbon splitter came with the car but I'm sure that Litchfields can get another one.

Exactly right about the front splitter. I'm just waiting for the carbon rear wing to be fitted next week - more pictures to follow...

I might try running with black number plates for a while - I'm sure that they would look great but I just wonder how many time I'll get pulled

Thanks everyone for the positive comments.

Tom! Are you getting the c/f Spec C style wing, or the Scott Lowe replica of it - because I have the Scott Lowe one and it's great!

Pictures here - http://www.st3ph3n.com/images/car/newbits

I've been looking for pictures of a Black new age with Anthracite/dark PFF7s for a few weeks now because I thought they'd look the dogs danglies, and boy do they.

You realise you've just cost me a whole heap of money now that I'm going to have to find those wheels?

I'm getting the c/f Spec C wing (just like the pics on the Litchfields site).

I bought the PFF7's from Revolution www.revolution.eu.com Top chaps and great value - delivered next day

Sorry about the added expense

OMG!!

I'm off to the loo!

Stunning mate!

What does the Type 25 sound like though, I'm guessing equal length headers rob the flat four of its burble, so can you describe what the larger capacity engine sounds like? I'm curious.

Yep, no burble - but then again no lag either As for the sound, I have to say that its quite quiet at tick over and on small throtle openings but if you toe it the exhaust gets quite a metallic rasp to it, not bad really. If I were honest, the burble sounds better but I would not be able to live with the power delivery of a UK car (PPP or not) after the Type25.

Talking

The sound on the T25s is also very directional - to the side it can sound quite quiet, but directly behind you know when its pressing on

Having said that, mine does have the "quiet" system developed for the 05 cars - some have the LOUD system as on the car that was tested last year by EVO for their COTY.

That looks out of this world mate.

The colour of the wheels really complements the bodywork. Nice one !
