Looking good. I have my Type R at Scoobyclinic at the moment having the 2.5 transplant. Hoping to have it back very soon, then a few days to run it in..

Hi. Ive got the same conversion on my type r and i can tell you the 2.5 rpm ceiling is 7000rpm. Its neither here nor there as there's so much torque downstairs you wouldnt really be bothered anyway. Only restriction from this is that max speed is just shy of 150mph (146.7mph on 16"wheels). Not really a problem for me because im quite happy for BMW and MERC's to go flying by at top speed, i get pleasure in embarrasing most owners of "high performance" cars on the country roads. Mainly smug M3/M5/RS4 office types.

Cheers guys for all your comments....on the ESC RR day today i got 316hp/316lb........this was due to my car slipping on the rollers....the guy driving the cars there said as its so low with hard suspension and with alot of grunt it was trying to move across the rollers so did'nt get all the power down....has anyone heard of this before???

All the potential is there for a 400bhp car...just a set of 740's needed and a 20g turbo..

Anyhow still took away the only trophy today for best overall car..

Mine was producing around 320/320 before a PowerFC and map from Andy.F. Only mods are h&s up/down pipe, 3" turbo back decat with apexi n1 box, vf23 modified (way too small, no power above 5500!). FMIC, 740's, headers and either 20g or gt30 (depends on g.box!) around the corner. Its all down to money at the end of the day!

Thumbs up congratulations!!!

so you won then joe! Wahey!!

you will find slipping a problem on older rollers that's why we went for the dyno dynamics due to the straps and the tread on the rollers making them very hard to slip, if we ever have a car slip slightly or try to jump off we just pull the straps down tighter and away we go.

see you soon mate
