Hes already said he's 18 and probably would struggle to insure.

Cracking car considering your age.....just get thru next couple of years unmarked and turbo should be within your grasp.

Nice one mate, looks sweet.

I had a 998cc Metro at 17 and put an MG interior in it. I was chuffed to bits and used to clean it every weekend.

To have an AWD, 2 litre car at 18 is a different league. Spot-on

NO. There would be no point as the point of a scoop is for the intercooler and as the sport does not have a intercooler or for that matter a turbo, it would seem pointless.

Remember to let the insurance company know about the mods. If your in an accident or it gets stolen they will use any excuss to invalidate the policy.

Good luck with the car.

American 2.5 RS (N/A) came out of the factory with a non-funcitoning bonnet scoop.

Agreed.

Sorry mate but there is a lad at my work that has just brought a scooped up sport looky-likey...i'll say the same thing i said to him; should have brought a hot-hatch instead more fun, less thirst and its not pretending to be something it isn't...flame me if you want but thats IMHO
