How hard was the conversion and what did you need? I have to do this to my sisters car and I'm not looking forward to it. It'd probably be alot easier to flog it and buy another car but you wouldn't find a shell as clean as hers

shes not staying de-stickered for long though lol,,,,,,,,,,,,,

the conversion was a nightmare but only because of when and where i done it

over the winter in my brick/block garden lol you will see what i mean in the pic below....
i bought a wrote off wrx and used as much as i could salvage
i think that is the only cost efective way if your gunna just buy what you need as and when it will cost to much.....

its ended up costing me the same to do this conversion than if i had bought a recon sport engine < £700 >

but then its been off the road hell of a lot longer than if i had threw a recon sport engine in.

here is where i done it <still got bruises to prove it lol>
and the doner car aswell......<which was compleat before i striped it to what you see in the pic.

It looks like that passenger door survived

Looks like a mare! That was properly smashed. Any chance that you could pm me and tell me where you got the smashed car from and how much please?

Thanks

Good like a gd job mate... as long as she keeps running it will be sucessful.

Always more interesting when you see people having a go at repairing themselves.... try to do all my own mechanical work, definitely more interesting than just posting up a company and saying thanks to them for all the work.
