Cool My STI5 Type R with Rays/STI TE37 wheels (fitted today).

I bought these (16") wheels from Paul on here (cheers Paul), they were the ones fitted to the S201 and also the STI6 Type R/RA V-Limiteds. Apparently they're about half the weight of 17" Prodrive P1 wheels.

Mmmm, I think I prefer them in that bronze colour!

Those are the same wheels but Volk/Rays branded right?

Very nice, glad you like 'em! They are the same as Volk TE-37, but the gold colour is unique to STi Rays, and AFAIK only the STi variant are available in the correct offset for the classic Imprezas (ET53). Closest TE-37 are available in seems to be ET46, not a massive difference but I'd expect handling will be slightly better with the STis.

The back tyres are a bit more worn now than they were when you sent them. I was on an airfield this afternoon so tried a couple of DCCD half-donuts on a taxi-way.

It was very dry and grippy so I didn't give them too much stick!
