Cheers Paul.

Yeah its coming off. I really should have left the carbon mirrors and 555 graphics on if I had wanted to keep the scoop and the full rally look, at least it would have been in keeping with the rest of the car.

Now it just looks like I've thought "I know... I'll put scoop on"

Heres what it used to look like...

And heres one for prosperity... (mines the one in the background... obviously )

Jay_bee - where did you get the bumper? Will it fit the uk car? It looks fantastic. Ive been contemplating one for a long time. the green 1 in the 1st pic in this thead is missing the bottom section. are the 2 bits bought seperately?

thanks

Mark

The one that is fitted to mine was added as an extra from STi in Japan.

I'll bring my STi brochure into work and scan a few pages to give you some idea.

I've been very lucky in that the original owner has spent ££££'s on upgrading a fair few bits of the original STi equitment, like various suspension parts, bumper etc with STi upgrades (if that makes sense LOL) and that he has included all the documentation from STi.

I also have the original WRX and WRX Limited brochures as well as two STi brochures (one for classics and one for Bugeyes, if anyones interested).

Thanks for the positive comments too

You could try someone that already imports STi stuff from Japan... I think GGR do... could be worth a call to see if they can get one in for you. I would imagine it will work out pretty damn expensive though.

This is my white type R with a 22b front bumper. This is a genuine 22b bumper, you can tell as it sticks out abit further than a normal scoob bumper.

Have a look at my pictures... the last one is a 22b and you can clearly see the grill is attached.... and how would you account for the difference in width? A genuine 22b bumper has to be wide enough to fit round the wide arches and hence would be too wide for yours.
