Welcome to V3's, had mine for almost 6 years now and it's done about 45k miles - tucked up in the garage for the winter and I'm running a Legacy GTB estate which I reckon would give the STI a fright from 100mph+

Hi, cheers, i hope my experience will be a good one, running costs might get me beacuse im 20, but if it doesn't suddenly brake down on me i should be ok; hows yours been eg:any engine problems etc..nice to know from someone who's onwed one for a long time!

Wouldnt want to encounter your Legacy GTB! they seem to be a bit of a Q car, how much Hp you estimate?
Cheers

I've had no problems at all....biggest expenses to date was a new battery and new front discs. Replaced the exhaust with 2nd hand stainless bits from scoobynet as the sections failed. Do all my own servicing incl replacing timing belt so that keeps the cost down. Enginewise there's a slight touch of piston slap (affects cars this age more than other yrs) but it get's warmed up and allowed to cool off. Running full decat and K&N and decent spark plugs. I've run it on 95 octane fuel ever since I bought it because I can't get 98 octane fuel - not advisable but I have no choice. It regurarly gets into redline territory and last year did a 1/4 mile day.

GTB was rolling roaded at 277 bhp, STI would hammer it to 100mph but when the GTB second turbo cut's in it's off.....

Cheers guys.

Yeh white was the only colour i wanted for an import impreza. Makes it look a lot different and sets it apart from the others on the road.

Planning to upgrade disks, put in guages and possibly a ver.5 wing. Any others ideas of what would make it look even better?

Cheers
