Default Just got back from kenya

Just got back, 5.30 yesterday morning at heathrow (business class of course) from 3 weeks in Kenya, all courtesy of the the gaffer at buck palace.

I must say that it was very hot, dirty, full of corruption and crime.

Started with 7 days in Nairobi then moved up to Nanyuki for 4 nights at the mount kenya safari hotel (5 star all inclusive FOC). The little hill in the background is Mount Kenya (17,700 ft) and for the shark eyes amongst you, yes i am at the equator.

Once all my work was done i then spent 3 days at the Masai Mara before coming home - heres just a selection of what i saw.....

I was less than 3 metres away from the lions and cheetas in the last 3 pics

Off to belieze for 6 weeks in april, I love my job

What the hell is a squaddie doing travelling business class,
We went business class to enable us to go straight to work when i got there (and i did), otherwise if i'd been on cattle class i would have had to had a mandatory 24 hrs off when i arrived. Also what does the term 'squaddie' have to do with it ? does that mean i have to rough it or something ?

and staying at first class hotel anyway.
The army only pay 20 quid a night as opposed to $300 for civvies, we get cheap hotel rates and they get guaranteed business all year round

Glad to know the tax payers money is not being wasted!
For your information - I am a tax payer as well, I probably pay more than you too. Would you rather your tax was spent on the training of the armed forces or given away to scum on benefits and asylum seekers etc ?

Gary - i knew i couldn't have one over you Have you been to belieze yet by any chance ?

Why do you think people join the forces? loads of Gucci toys and all expenses trips abroad. That's what I told them at the interview

Looking good m8, even with the 'teapot' pose; hope you got a good tan
