Talking Powder Coated Manifold

Just picked up my manifold and rocker covers that have been treated to a bit of powder coating. Im currently in the middle of rebuilding my engine (STi V5 Type R) and the original coating was badly flaking! I had a lot of choice colour wise but wanted to stay somewhere near the standard colour.

Very pleased with the results and look forward to seeing them in the engine bay.

£75 for the lot and the manifold was in a right state when i handed it over. Cheaper than i expected and a better finish too.

Going to have to be very careful with the spanners when things are going back into place! Powder coating is meant to give a tough finish but i dont want to have to find out how tough.

No, not married! LOL, marriage is for mugs, poor mugs!

The place that did the work it is called "Fast Line Coatings" and is based in Preston. They do all kinds of coatings and finishes, highly recommended.

I hope you don't have any issues with putting the Seals back in for the Fuel Rails!! From the pics it looks like they've powder coated those holes too!

Just a concern I noticed

It hasnt gone unnoticed, i will see how i get on but if need be i will thin or remove the coating around that area. That was my fault for not telling him before hand. You live and learn
