Great pics Kev I forgot my camera - doh.

Was a fantastic day and well done to Thomo. Glad Plato got a 1st and 2nd though to beat Reid in the standings

Roll on next season, rumour is Alain Menu will take Thomo's place in the VX team.

Slightly off topic but does anyone know what Thomo is doing next as he's leaving BTCC

Cheers

Strange having Will Hoy's car there as I thought this was used by Matt Neal during his first full season as a privateer in 1992.

Thomo's doing the World Touring Car Championship with Alfa next season

and it was the 1991 championship winning car, think they used the newer shape the season after, might be wrong though

That Tornado was awesome!

Good racing too, I watched the last one in the exec box with Trousers dad, a couple of great spins there at about 150mph

We were on the bank opposite Craner. That Tornado was fascinating to watch.

Had a chat with Rob Huff when I went to Seat stand to buy a fleece [that wind was damn cold]!! He was a real sweetie

I had more than that on but was still cold, too far to walk back to car to get a sweatshirt

Was kept amused by people sliding down on their ***** on the wet ground infield though, can see why they cancelled infield parking

BMW used the new shape in 1992 (Harvey was champ) but Neal was a privateer in 1992 and he used the old Hoy car. It was painted in his usual 100+ RimStock colours so maybe they have just re-painted it back to Securicor/Listerine colours of Hoy/VLM?

The race was on TV yesterday, and it was great seeing all the drivers out again. Just a shame the race was not edited by BHP who made the racing look more exciting than they did yesterday.
