The air vent removed and cut away to allow the know link to fit then plastererd with P38 body filla

The finished, filed, smoothed and sprayed unit. Fits like a glove and look good too I think!

Sorry for the poor pics, thay were taken on my camera phone. Next job - mount that inside/outside temp gauge better!!

That looks really nice.
Don't you think its a bit far out of your field of vision whilst you're driving though, especially when you're going quick? Thing is, det isn't really something you can constantly monitor - it sort of sneaks up on you, and usually at a speed that you don't really want to be taking your eyes off the road.
What about moving it to the right hand vent, at least?
Not knocking what you've done.... looks really good.

Na I need that one for the hot days in summer!!! no air con you see.
I have seen plenty of people mount them there so I thought hey why not.
To be honest I never looked at them when the where at the bottom of the A pillar.
