2.5RS King

Greetings from Canada. Over here we missed the early versions of the impreza (roughly V1-4) and so I don't have much info about them. I was wondering how the front bumper was originally painted from factory for the version IV. I am recreating this look on my impreza RS (N/A 2.5L) and wanted it to resemble the originally Ver. IVs...

I have seen the whole bumper painted the car colour like below:



And I have seen the little vents under the signal left black:


which was is OEM?
And my car is a dark blue.....so which do you think will look better??

OEM is the second pic with the black sections.

I think it looks better than all painted the same.

black bits, later sti models had the center slats in the middle of the bumper painted i think?

Thanks guys - I guess my second pic is actually a version 3 (as the bonnet is different). Would be nice to get my hands on that lip....
