Did you fit it yourself?
Did you use all of the holes?
Is opening/closing the boot now a pain due to the different weight? (Subaru suggest a different Torsion bar when fitting theirs).

very nice GTOMO. You got anything else planned apart from wheels? Front splitter?
Jolley, my STI replica went on with just the four holes, and double sided tape along the centre (DR will supply if you request). The boot is heavier, but not too much. You still need to give it some downward momentum to close it, just not very much I don't think its likely to slam down by itself.

Jolley,
Yes I fitted it myself, and used all of the 10 holes + trim tape. Didn't want it falling off !
SC008Y MAD,
I'm sorting the wheels, but your right ! a big scoop is a must
mrklaw,
I might get one of megabussa's V Lips, in fiberglass though not in carbon fiber, I want to paint it WR Blue !
Frazer,
I felt the same way at first, but it kinda just happend, the fog covers come stickerd up already, and it just snowballed from there !
Anyone who knows there Scoobs knows it's not an STI, I just think it looks better with the extra bits on.
Thanks guys for the comments

..and although it was only at very low speed,it was with enough force to pop both fog lamp covers out of the bumper.....the splitter must have almost bent double on itself...and the result:-
absolutely no damage at all, except a teensy weensy little scratch which is hardly noticeable..I honestly couldn't believe it!!

Frazer, I can see your point, but then why do people do cosmetic mods at all? I thought my WRX03 was the best model for me at the price, but its looks weren't all that. A couple of things from the STi in particular (fog covers and rear spoiler) were essential IMO in setting off the rest of the car.
Each to their own I suppose. I think GTOMOs looks really nice

oh, got mine from http://www.superspeed-carstyling.co.uk/ , good price painted
For the rear spoiler, mine is an STI replica from DR motorsports, very nice finish and easy fit. Also recommended is the Rallytech one. DR do both, and will paint for you before shipping.

Very nice mrklaw !
Are your wheels 18" ? if so, do they affect the ride quality ?
and do you ground out the front on speed bumps ect ?
austen wrx,
If your after an exact copy, then DR Motorsport are the best iv'e seen,
the fit is perfect all the way around the boot and for an idea of paint finish, see the closeup pic at the top of page one !
Thanks again all for the comments

18" superleggeras, yes. Plus prodrive springs. Handling is much better than before, not noticably harsher ride, just firmer. Really nice combination.
Front is v.low (actual splitter is only a few cm lower, like the STI one, but add in springs, total is about 7-8 cm lower). Goes over speed bumps OK - good job as we have loads in our street. I actually drove over one of the straddle ones and got out to see the gap before getting the springs on, just to check it'd be OK.
Can't get above 3rd floor in our work car park as the front scrapes, but not too badly (very steep ramp)
