The bottom grill has been replaced with a mesh to suit a FMIC (currently no longer fitted BTW)

i'm all for silver mesh - contrast nicely against my red car. but would say black against a silver car, especially as your grille is black!

Id go Black too, matches the wedges and the grill then.
For the silver just highlights a big expanse of nothing intresting.

how are you (you sent me pics of your motor when mine was being facelifted)? well its finished now and looks great IMO. i might have to disagree on the mesh looking uninteresting though. on the right colour car it can look pretty neat (as the Yanks might say).
