I think they are more popular abroad as are the ones in the foreground GC_010e. I think they are a nice looking wheel and I initially looked at them as a prospective purchase (lack of the right size put pay to that).
The problem is they aren't cheap and to the best of my knowledge (from Mike Wood @ Prodrive), Prodrive don't impoert them for that reason. Presumably not cost effective for them (us UK cheapskates don't want megabucks wheels when nice cheap alternatives are on the market).
Having made enquiries about GC_010e and followed Mike Wood's advice it appears that even Subaru UK aren't very forthcoming about sourcing the GC series of wheels. So you'd probably end up importing them from abroad (Prodrive Japan or a US outlet).
I have a contact at z1auto in the States if you wanted to make enquiries? They don't list the GC_06D on their site, but can probably get it. Be warned though 18x7.5J GC_010e are $575 (£316) a rim. The GC series are forged (lightest in the Prodrive range) and certainly not cheap. I'm just making some room financially for the brand new GC_05F - its a hard core rim that will suit my scoob a dream.
By my reckoning it'll cost just over £1350 to get them into the country, and then they'd need booting up. Also note that the GC_06D only goes up to 16" (I think), so probably won't be as expensive.
Hope this helps,
Kev
ps GC_06D is availavle in 18" as advised by Matt below & confirmed on Prodrive Japan site (not sure what I was thinking of).
