Had the same steering wheel on my series 1 rs turbo, an optional extra, they cost £250 from ford back in 1985, a rare item.. I always delt with castle performance rather than turbosystems, they seem to have the extra edge.

The car has been looked after by Steve Scott at A1 Rallysport, the turbosystems sticker was on the strut brace when i bought it.
Nice cars in your street then!!
Thanks!

Lovely looking cossie
God i am so close to going back to one.
My 2wd saph was the best car i have owned. It could be driven without bloody worrying the whole time.
I not looking forward to searching for a good one though.
Top for a top saph

When i say no worries,i mean it ran sweet as a nut without a single problem in 4 years, never had to worry about det, what fuel to put in etc etc.It was tuned to 340bhp all kindly supplied by ahmed bajoo himself,Met him at a mountune open day.As for my 1st track day at goodwood in it,Tuned RS Turbo trashing me through the bendy bits.thats when i decided 4 wheel drive was the way to go.I still hanker for a saph 4x4.I love the scoob but do miss the saph.
