Finally had some news back off Compomotive after nearly a month. Compomotive have decided that there was nothing wrong with the wheel. So I guess that means the grip my tyres had on the tarmac was stronger than what there so called rally wheel was. Yes the wheels do look good as you can see them on my car. But whats looks if the wheel breaks under hard cornering??!!

As you can see from my pictures the wheel come into NO CONTACT WITH ANYTHING!!!

Be warned there not as strong as you may think they are!!!

Thanks for nothing Compomotive!!!

Question

Just a question...Are they MAGNESIUM-Alloy wheels?

I head somewhere that some types of these only have a finite lifespan. (i.e race use only).

Thumbs down

Office of Fair Trading? Small Claims Court?

I'd class that as unfit for purpose!

I would take it to a uniniversity's engineering department and have them test it for you, there is no way that should happen to a wheel unless there was a fault/crack in the casting causing 1 of the spoke to break and the rest then couldnt take the presure. I had a similar thing with a piper cam, all the lobes on the cam disapered which made the car alittle tapity to say the least, they tested it and said there was no problem with the cam ( i would say no lobes was alittle problem ) i had it checked by an engineer who told me the hardening wasnt deap enough and piper then replaced it when i showed them the engineers report.
