Have been searching through previous threads and have only found a handful of fellow members who own these rare motors
So I'll start with some photos of mine - Its a Mica Red MY00 WorldRallySport with the full PPP package - inc. exterior/interior/driving enhancement and Peformance Upgrade:
Anymore WRS owners ?

Hi Nelson
Here's my 98 Terzo. It has all the packages required to reach WR Sport status except the Interior Pack The 71 year old (I **** you not) who ordeered it originally opted to stick with the Terzo interior ie. WRX Seats with half alcantra etc etc.... I have the Performance Pack, Exterior pack, Drivers upgrade.....
My only regret was that he bought it in 98 and not 99 as I am now commited to paying silly money for the higher WR Spoiler as yours and RB5... But Ces't La Vie eh....
Pics not great but more on the way when the weather perks up again
Listy

Very nice car that mate - well at least with a 71 year old you know that she probably never been raced or rallied
A WR rear wing on yours would look very nice too - as you say they are quite rare to get hold of and do sale for good money.
I was lucky with mine cos she has all the Prodrive Goodies on board inculding the ECU, i/c piping and exhaust.
Cheers

WR Sports are nice but if you don't mind, why buy an MY00 WR Sport, when you could surely of had a P1 for similar money or an RB5 WR instead of an MY99 WR Sport

Cos they are very rare mate - like I said I have the WR Sport which has EVERYTHING Prodrive could throw at it and has the badging exclusive to the WRS which was applied at the factory. I am a big fan of the RB5 but as far as I know there are only 100 official WRS (World Rally Sport) scoobs made - and I have one of them
The spec of mine is as follows:
Prodrive Handling pack - Eibach and Bilstien Suspension setup (lowered by 20/25mm IIRC)
Prodrive Aero pack - Rear Exclusive WR wing, colour coded skirts and front lip)
Prodrive Interior pack - Electric Reacro "Prodrive" seats with matching trim/door cards. White dials with WRS logo printed on the rev counter and Prodrive mats
Prodrive Wheels - PD7 Wheels shod with Pirelli PZero's 205/45/17
Prodrive Quickshift
PIAA Driving Lamps
Prodrive Performance Pack - inc. ECU, I/c Pipework and Exhaust Upgrade.
I bought mine second hand for a fair price imho - P1 was another 5-6K to spend(out of my price range)and RB5's for me were not the right year that I wanted. To cap it all my Scoob is in fact painted in Sedona Red Pearl which I have been reliably informed is the colour used for the Bugeye model.

I thought the way to get a WR Sport was:
1. Order an Impreza Turbo
2. Order the Interior Pack
3. Order the Exterior Pack
4. Order the Handling Pack
5. Order the Performance Pack
Get a free WR Sport badge
I am pretty sure that this isn't a limited edition & anyone with the money at the time could spec a standard turbo to WR Sport spec
I also think that the Performance pack was optional

Well Daz - You may be right a Prodrive article states :
Prodrive WR Sport
"Well Prodrive can do all of this in one go, interior pack, exterior pack and driving enhancement pack (engine modifications are not mandatory) and you get WR Sport badging etc. Note this must be specified at the time of ordering a new car and can not be undertaken on a car which has already left the showroom."
So the WR I think just means that all the upgrades other than the PPP have been carried out on the car The lovely thing is mine also has the PPP upgrade so whilst not the most powerful scooby about - it ain't bad

Cheers for the comments about how clean she is - what I use is Swissol - it is a tad pricey but the results speak for themselves. I started using it on My prev silver 93WRX and that came out well but on this mica red it really delivers the goods. I actually bought my Swissol starter kit via a SN group buy via the Wax Wizard and the Carnuba Wax is still going strong.
