Cheers for that Hammoc
Gold Wheels Rule !!
Im thinking of chaning the little 16 incers to 18s but shes been lowered by 25mm and the tyres will rub a dub its not fare.
Dont know that make of the suspension as it was on there when i bought here, very rigid ride, just like a go kart with no suspension at all.
if i go the 17s its that old story of the extra inch.
so looks like the 16s are staying for a while

Cheers for the comments
Suspension is Leda B, lowered quite a bit but no rubbing etc even with 18's.
Was looking at STi 8's and Evo 7's the other day and have decided that there is no way im parting with this, the only better thing i could find with the newer cars is just that, there newer.

Adrian, tyres are Toyo Proxes 215,35,18. I recommend you go for the 18's cus if you dont you'll always look at your 17's and wish you'd gone for that all important inch!

Adrian, wouldnt really know myself m8, ive only ever used these im afraid, i think some people use 215,40's though.
triple6, it actually a Firestorm back box from TSL with an STi sticker added.
Craig, nice motor, i sometimes wondered what one of these would look like with silver rims on, looks well.

wrxmark,
The Type-R's have a centre adjustable diff and an intercooler water spray to tie in with the whole rally feel. I think the whole transmission ratio is lower as well which aids acceleration. They also have a solid bulkhead behind the rear seats, although I'm not sure if other Impreza models are the same or not. I have owned mine for two years now and I still get the same buzz from driving it as I did then.
Craig.

wrxmark,
A lot of people will say its useless for motorway speeds. I have clocked up thousands of motorway miles and it doesn't bother one bit at that speed. It may be a bit louder, but not that much. The throttle response at motorway speeds is incredible, very safe for overtaking!!!
