The rear windscreen & wiper are new, had the screen fitted this morning for 40 quid by RAC Windscreens, and I got my old windscreen back too

I got all the parts quite easily from a WRX that was being broken
We used Guitar wire to remove the windscreen, and then I let the RAC swap them over, I did buy new top and bottom trims, as was recommended by the RAC, but looking at the old top trim, I could have done without buying that. The bottom trim definatly had to be new as it is rubber and bonded to the windscreen
It took about an hour this morning for them to swap them over, including removing all the old bonding from the new glass
Wiper Motor assembly was very easy to fit, in fact the hardest part was cutting the parcel shelf
I only got chance to install the motor assembly and arm this morning, as it started raining, and couldnt leave a hole in the windscreen
So it isnt wired up yet, but I do have the relay etc, so I will take a look at it tomorrow (weather permitting)
Not sure on the stalk yet, Im going to try and source a wagon one,(cant use Jap ones, as they are on the opposite side) and see if I can accomodate that, failing that, it will be off the to scrapyard to get a wiper switch that will fit one of the switch blanking plates
I havent fitted the water bottle yet also, as I have to drill a hole above the rear light to take the feeder pipe (or alternatively as it has a cap, I could just leave it in the boot tucked away
Edited to add
Ive seen breakers advertising rear screens & rear wipers sale for around 100-150 quid mark, for me it was worth doing, as its one of my pet hates especially this time of year

Well done Sonic
Thats the easy bit done though!
Wiring it up is fun and games!
You'll see a BIG difference with it fitted.... no more worrying if its a big nasty traffic car behind you!

Nice job - wouldn't mind one on the bugeye but too much on at the moment
Have a look round the paintwork where they've changed the glass, just in case. When I had my front screen changed (not by RAC), the tent-peg-puller type tool the bloke used had left an odd paint chip / scratch as he'd been "forceful" with the glue

Ive only ever seen one bugeye with a rear wiper, and that was only the other night
They were very carefull round the glass, and had this giant mat on the roof to protect it
I had to clean the Pillars as they had left a bit of bonding on there, but it came off quite easy, they did a pretty good job, and you cant argue at the price they charged

Yep mate, took em about an hour
Just trying to source a Wagon or P1 wiper stalk, so I can get it wired in, failing that a trip to the scrappy to get an old wiper switch for one of the blanking plates
