I think we all need to see stuff like this now and again, it's not nice no, but it reminds us how lucky we are, and for me personally it reminds me to keep a level head when driving.
Good post.

I was on the M61 job. not a pretty sight! When you attend these sorts of incidents, you do tend to drive a bit more conservativly for a while afterwards. But then I'm afraid complacency creeps back in!

My father-in-law was part of MedAlert in Lancashire (in fact he was one of the founding doctors) and attended many of these incidents in the region.
Hearing the horrors of it first hand really brings it all home. He had nightmares for weeks after the M61 incident.
Be careful out there...

Im a class one trucker for the last 14 years seen some sights on the motorways tend to work nights ,afternoons due to traffic on the roads used to do 2.5k a week but work less hours now . GOT hit up the **** by a drunk asleep at the wheel last year at Watford Gap i was in a 44Tonne tanker at the time he doing 100 mph+ so the police told me when he hit me they had on camera but it still pushed me forward i was doing 56 mph at time of impact . He lived with broken coller bone and ankle. As for me got back to Ashbourne had the day off and chilled out with a beer but really shooked me up!!!!!! didn't want think of mite happened if he hit me from the side!!!

I am being very honest when I say, although you don't get used to seeing terrible injuries, and incidents, you certainly don't recall each and every one. They are all bad at the time you are there, but the focus is on the job in hand, after it was just another incident! Sorry if that sounds hard or unsympathetic but thats life.
