My WRX's Appearance - Your Thoughts
#1
Hi guys,
I own an MY98 WRX and I would be grateful for some feedback it’s appearance.
The red and silver car on the left is a current picture of my car. The completely red car on the right is a picture what my car would look like if I were to colour code it. BTW, my wheels are gold.
WRXs are common in Australia and a few years ago I introduced the silver to look different. Now I am unsure which looks better. Should I leave my car the way it is (red/silver), or should colour code my car (red only)?
Thanks in advance.
The link below has pictures of the cars described above (red/silver and red only):

to run with the pack it has to be a single colour.
to be an individual you could leave it as it is.
Personnally i would go for a single colour.
If you want to stay 2 tone i would suggest it has to be more radical eg silver all round the lower half.... at present it doesnt really work...sorry.
good luck anyway.

the two tone looks like you've just come out from the local scrapyard (or breakers) and can't afford the paint job until your next pay packet...what are you like eh?
definitely all red...
definitely all red...

Thanks for the feedback guys.
The two-tone scheme looked good a few years ago when the car was still current shape. However now that my car’s shape is aging, the two-tone does make the car look unfinished. It actually looks better in real life, especially from the front. And although the pictures do not do it justice, I will be respraying the silver panels red in the coming months.
Cheers, Andre.

i think what ur looking for is something that says this is
a subaru but its my subaru. So what u want to do is maybe have a 2 tone theme but not what u had :> I would suggest that the main body be one colour(ur favourite colour presumably) and then highlight the natural shapes to give it a look/style that goes with ur personality. So this would be using a complementary colour that can make ur car aggressive/styling or subtle changes ....
