Also he did say that the legal maximum HE can put on my car is 20%, as they only do 20%, 35%, 50%, oh and Drug/Pimp 5%

He said if I wanted 35% all round, he didnt fit it, nor would the invoice state that either

As for what '%' it is, not to sure as it was on the car when I bought it. Will find out soon when I get pulled by the old bill and they test it

Yes it still gets bloody hot in the car even with the tints.

Paid £220 for my all-round tints. Had slightly lighter on the two front side windows just to make sure i could see at night.

Cool

Here's my STi7. I had the tints done by Secur-Fix. As part of a group buy it cost £220. The front sides are 35% (the legal maximum), the back sides are also 35% but look darker as the back screen is 23%. The lower the percentage the darker the tint.

Hi guys, thinking of having my WRX tinted but would like to ask a few questions.

Is there anyone in the Lincolnshire area that is a reliable fitter of this stuff?

Do they have to actually remove any of the glass since the majority of the windows are frameless? Just nervous about the interior panels getting damaged if they need to be removed.

Have read a few horror stories on here about the film peeling off after a time, anyone else experienced this?

What they told me yesterday, was that they may need to keep the car over night, on frameless windows, as they leave the windows down about 1cm, and its kept in a secure lockup

Alternatively he said that if you have a garage yourself, then this is what you need to do for the first night

LOL Nice one

now the big question is, are you going to fit it yourself, or pay someone to do it
