Tried not to duplicate too many of the others that have gone up on here....apart from a certain blue WRC car

From the F1 Paddock

I want one of these steering wheels!

A few other rally cars...

Some others on display

Going up the hill

And coming down it ...

A few Vauxhalls....

And in the air...

That's all for now!!!!!!

Peter

mkyboy, it is a Virgin A340 that did a fly by and a few circles around Goodwood. Half an hour before it arrived, the commentators were warning everyone that it was on its way and not to be alarmed by a large passenger jet flying low towards the event.

Thanks for the comments. If you haven't been then you should try an get along next year. I have been for the last 3 years and it just gets better - especially if the weather is good!

Great pics Pete

You should be able to get some good pics from our Catalunya trip in October with your new camera

Thanks Andy!

That was the first time I had used it for motorsport photos. the extra zoom and the sports mode definitely improved the action shots compared to my previous camera. Looking forward to trying out at Catalunya - might try and get the additional telephoto lens before then

A Fuji S602z - great camera. Managed to get Jessops to price match it against an Internet camera seller so got nearly £100 off their price
