Thanks for that am planning on keeping the car standard for a month or two until i get used to it, but what should be my firts mod?

Scooby sport exhaust and a decent dumpvalve...will enhance the appeal of yer scooby infinitely.....

and what type of exhaust?

Exhaust depends on how loud you want it and what look. For not VERY loud (i.e. not mine or Leon's ) go for ScoobySport (or Hayward & Scott) backbox and either a ScoobySport decat centre, or get a Magnex one at half the price (its just a straight-thru pipe, so who cares).

Then get yourself a nice PPP ECU (currently 2nd on my "big mod" to-do list, after wheels)
