Working for me..
I think if I had been parked on the edge I would have had a word with him..... a bit too close for my liking...one slip and its about 5 cars smashed up.
Also a bad advert for Scoobies and Cruising in general.

i have to disagree with both you guys, 99% of the people go to the large car parks to see all the action, who wouldnt want to see a car pushed to its limits by its consenting owner?! maybe next time you should ask all the cars who come into the car park one by one to not do donuts, and maybe ask them to drive around at no more than 5 miles an hour...........................................
if these things happen in large car parks, then surely thats safer than 100 cars cruisng around notts all night looking for somewere to go, driving faster on the roads, trying to show off...........
these are my opinions, and i dont give a **** what lame *** comments will follow.....

Simple really.
Do you want to go to a cruise to meet people with the same interest in cars and have a look at their motors or do you want to go and see arseholes showing off giving everyone else a bad name? I don't for a second believe that 99% go to see the aresholes.
How many video's do you need to see of idiots in these situations ploughing in to an innocent persons car. It can also be a lot worse. If you want to see a consenting owner push his car to the limits go to a track or airfield day. A public car park with no safety measures is not the place.
The guy in the scoob was not in control he was trying to donut the car but instead did a sort of power slidey understeery thing. I bet everyone was impressed.
As for the Scoob part of the argument. The Scoob has always been considered the enthusiasts choice, a car to be seen at track days and the like. Now its starting to be seen as the boy racer/maxpower nobber type of car and that isn't good IMO.

well maybe the police should stop cruising, stop people enjoying cars, and limit everybodys car to 70 mph and if cruise`s offend people then phil maybe you shouldnt drive round nottingham every sunday night with your neons on, and if logiclee has a scooby then i suggest he trades it it for a limlited (to 30 mph) nissan micra automatic, and stop looking at fast cars ever again.

Mr Bling,
Who said I thought Cruising should be stopped and who said I don't enjoy a spirited drive where conditions and situations allow. I have done many miles in Scoob convoys to different places and arrived with a smile and pounding heart. Whats the point of spinning wheels and donuting in a Car Park?
The point is that we can enjoy what we have got and have fun without being total t**ts.
You dont say what you own but I like to go to meets and Cruises where myself and £20000 worth of metal are not at risk from people who THINK they can handle a car and have a need to prove something. Get on track and find out the proper way that your not as good as you think you are.
The Police would not have to close down the Cruises if it wasn't for the idiots.

Lee, it looks like we dont agree on this.I`m not demamnding that everybody with a high power car go to ther nearest primary school and start doing donuts in the playground but i go notts hopeing for some action, not just to a load of cars parked up..try the leicester fosse pak cruise for that! No person or car has been injured that i have seen on the macro car park in nottingham, and the police have never come to shut it down. everycar that does some donuts or shows off a bit is greeted with loud cheers and tooting of horns, and if you anna po and tell people off you should be a teacher/policeman/traffic warden...if you arent already
i look forward to you telling those 2 big *******s in celics GT4`s to stop messing around!!!!

Mr Bling,
Yep looks like we'll have to disagree. Its probably just experience talking. I have been driving for 17 years. I have been very fortunate to own powerfull fastish cars for all that time.
I had a spell of around 5 years when I both drove and co-drove rally cars in competetive events and have been involved in motorsport eversince. I have also been to loads of track days
The point is I know how easy it is to loose control when you are at the limit.
I am also married to someone who was disabled in a car accident.
As I said before I enjoy spirited driving but I don't put anyone else at risk.
To put yourself in danger is your own choice, to put others in danger and the police deserve to be called in and we are all the poorer for it.
You may like to have a look it General at This Thread
As you will see locals are being endagered and injured by the idiots who race round the circuit.

Lee...
i still see your point but think people will always show off in their cars, and if it happens in a car park its most certainly better than everyone driving round the broadmarsh getting faster and faster, putting more lifes at risk driving round nottingham, surely its better to have all the people in the same placae at the same time, leaving it up to the indivual what they want to do with ther car, and no one goes there to cause harm or damage, if they did i wouldnt go there.i`m sorry to hear about your wife, sometimes i do think even it slow speeds how everyoine is vunerable traveling in car, but we all need to let of some steam once in a while and after all only a few cars lark about down there, and everone enjoys it, there was even a white bentley down there...surely not a car most people would think to see at a cruise!
