I do quite like that look you've got going on there, but why did you want to replace the originals?

Red face

I was under the impression they wouldn't fit as the offset was wrong/different?!? They look great.

Damn - missed out on a set.

I've got MY01 WRX 17" on which suit my MY99 though.

Just my humble opinion but I prefer the look of it with the speedlines

They fit fine, the problem is with the original tyres but if you fit 215/40/17's they are ok.
The reason i changed the wheels is because i want to upgrade the brakes to 4 pots (only got 2 pots at the moment) and 4 pots wont fit behind the Speedlines.
i do like the Speedlines and was going to hold out for a set of RB5 wheels and get them coated gold but these came up at the right price

Well I think you're been ripped off, I have a MY99 with 4pots and the very same speedlines and they fit perfect... even have 5mm left between the rim and the caliper....

Creepy, the above Speedlines do not fit over the 4 pots as Andy has said, I'm sure you don't have the same.
The only similar wheels were the RB5 Speedlines that you could fit over 4 pots.
I think the new STI wheels look cool

I think there are some Legacy wheels that look the same as the Speedlines that do fit over 4 pots and the RB5 wheels also look like the Speedline Supertarismo's but 4 pots dont fit under the original Supertarismo's .....ive tried

Well, if someone can explain how to set a pic in this, I will prove that I have the same Speedline wheels with original 4 pot calipers.
Why should I lie about this, its just a fact...

Yeah, I took the pic with 600-800 resolution, and it's a bit whobbly. But there is still 5 mm left. The outer edge is a little worn due to heavy cornering....

The Speedline Chrono's are an after market wheel avalble from tyre/wheel dealers where as the Speedline Supertrismo's were just for the Subaru avalable from subaru.
They look the same but probably have a different offset to the Subaru wheels.
As said before Supertrismos dont fit over 4 pots.....you havnt got Supertrismo's so your lucky
