arron,
nice to see that us bikers can go round corners quickly- be a bit of a shock to the "cars rule the world" brigade
tiggs
ps- english flag on your sliders / GB flag on your lid, sort your co-ordination out!

Oi Birdy
How dare you put pictures of me on the BBS without my permission
I borrowed your leathers and bike in good faith, if I'd known you were going to take pictures i would ave charged
Birdy drops lipstick on floor frequently
I ride ***** out all the time which is where the phrase tank slapper came from and Birdy gets all the credit.

arron,
you got to get a timer- makes it 10 times more fun.
i did a 53.3 on 207GPs, the only 3 quicker than me were my mates, 2 on slicks and the others ex racer so he dont count
i run the rear sets right up for brands (clearways mainly) but still wreck toe sliders.
tiggs
ps before you mention doing trackdays you post about- ive retired!

Mike. You definately can only dream about this sort of stuff
Tiggs I like it mate.
Only managed mid 54`s on my mate`s watch so not as accurate as a laptimer. Will get one for next year along with some tyre warmers.
That time was on Rennesport`s.
Reckon I could go quicker as I never really managed to get Clearways bang on.
Must try and find some more ground clearance to for Brands. I`m running an Ohlins rear with increased ride height but standard pegs.
I`m gonna remove the little end widgets that should sort it.
On the same day a rcaer was posting mid 52`s on an R1 with ram air and slicks so I was reasonably happy as we only got four dry sessions.

lol, thats why i've quit
i spent 3-4 years doing 25-30 trackdays a year to go from fast road rider (ie. cr4p on a track ) to being one of the quickest at most trackdays except racers who were there.
then i realised..
1. it was costing silly money, i was running slicks, wets, 207GPs, i was wrecking a rear every trackday not to mention pads, etc. prob avaraged well over 500 pound a day when allowing for travel, petrol, hotels , etc, etc, etc
2. if i wanted to go faster i should race not get to the point where i was stuffing it under people mid corner just to get a quick time. and if i race i had to be ready to fall off and i didnt want to do that!
every one of my mates i rode with fell off at some point on track , i assume thats the price of being 1 sec a lap up on me!
Tiggs
ps- followed a mate through craner curves, 10yards back when he threw it at the bottom left before the hairpin- enough to put anyone off (unless your racer material, i aint!)

Tiggs just got back from Cadwell and unfortunately saw some poor ba5tard lying dead on the side of the road just outside the circuit onthe A15.
All in all we saw 3 accidents today all involving a bike.
And a guy got killed in the 250 race,
Brings it all flooding home witha big bang when you see **** like that.
I must say that me and the lads get on with it on the road but today I reckon most of the bad driving was being done by bikes.
Some of these guys shouldnt be on the road.
RIP to the poor guys.
