Crikey!
I bet even Burnsy's jealous...
[Going to turn on Gran Turismo now because clearly it *is* possible to get a 22B-bodied 500bhp monster, so might as well remind myself how one goes and handles!]

That took long enough to load!!
Well worth it though, because that is, quite simply the most stunning impreza I have ever seen! - and by quite some margin!
I dread to think how much it cost you, though!
Good on you! Fantastic!!

Hyper,
Hyper,
Hyper,
HOLD ON TO YOUR LUNCH EVERYBODY. THE BEAST HAS ARRIVED.
You are the KING. The most powerful Impreza on the BBS. Fantastic. Monster beast. I'm lost for words. I thought you were joking on i club when you said that the car in the picture looked like your car. It was your car. I'm shocked. JUN is very big, my friend in OZ always talks about them and zero sports. Two times a year he goes to Japan to see the new products and ideas and has meetings with these guys. Last year before I left for Greece he told me to go with him and I didn't. I'm hitting my head now. Your 22B body kit is top choice looks very good. A very nice original Impreza body kit. The white MY01 looks good too. Nice front lights and spoiler too. You sure don't muck around. When I raced the quarter mile with my ford the car next to me pulled a 10.08 and 132.94 mph it was a little ford capri with a V8 like my engine and similar mods, but with less weight he ate me. The mile an hour is the same as yours which means you can get a 10.00 sec too with better gear changes and better takeoff. Although I must say the capri had an auto box. A 2 speed power glide which helps. No worrying about gear changes.
This job, how long it took? 6 months? How long have you had the car back now, since the monster upgrade? Did they need to strengthen your chassis for all this power? How much boost will you run, when run in? Was it dangerous to take boost to 1.5 bar without the engine been run in yet? Also the quarter mile run is this not dangerous when engine still not run in? Do you find it reliable? Is the dog box easy to drive? Is the engine smooth to drive? Did you send the car in a container to Japan? Sorry all these questions, but I'm very interested in this monster
How big is the JUN exhaust? Looks the bollocks. I like the Blitz SBC-ID and POWER-ID. Stackmeter looks awesome too. Is the Tsukuba track a circuit or 1/4 mile track? How did you go against the other cars? Did they have big power like you?
Hyper, congratulations m8, look after the car and enjoy, enjoy, enjoy.
Regards,
WREXY.
PS It took 50 minutes to download, but it was worth it. How fast are the other peoples PC's I saw replies after 10 minutes of Hyper posting. ISDN must be superfast you lucky ducks.

Total respect to HYPER!
I can only imagine what it's like to own such a beast, I can't help thinking that it must have cost at least an arm, if not the leg, and probabably half the bodt as-well!
Just a thought, I wonder if Prodrive have ever built an unrestricted WRC?
Anyway, great car, I'd love to see it sometime, what country is it in? (I don't need specifics)
Ron.

Wait there...I'll have you...Just fit my K&N57i air-filter and you're toast!
Joking aside - Utterly fantastic. We need to see more of these kind of monsters in the UK.
Congratulations. I hope you are able to enjoy your car for a long, long time!

Hyper,
Thanks very much for taking all that time to answer my questions. I really apreciate it.
Hyper, don't regret nothing. If you have the money, why not do it I ask. Just enjoy the car, and look after it. Looking after it is the main thing. As I said in my previous post JUN is very big and recognised in Australia. They would have done a number 1 job. For your "How many horsepower would suit you" thread that horsepower you will never get used to it . I'm sure you will never say I want more, because the car is also light. 1.0 bar will be enough for the street forever. Everytime you put the foot down even from 60kmh your car will wheelspin like crazy even with 1.0 bar, plus because it's light, even though it has AWD. My ford used to wheelsoin when putting the foot down from 100kmh but it was only rear wheel drive but 1600kg.
You are right those big power engines use the thin gapless rings, therefore do not need much running in. My Ford needed only 300km to run in. And yes they do run them in on the dyno.
I know what you mean about the pressure and the breathing problem, running down the quarter with that power. The Ford was slower and I used to cop it too.
Hyper, look after it. Maintain it properly, and the most important thing is to take the advice JUN will give you for maintainig, different driving and warm up and stick to it.
I wish you the best of luck with it and hope it gives you lots and lots of years enjoyment.
Regards,
WREXY.
PS This is the car you must take me for a ride when I find you. Thanks to you, you will inspire many European people to start modifying big. And you would be the start of it. I'm thinking now, I wonder if.............

Hyper- love the car!!!!!!!!!!
We never see such 'exotics' here in Atlanta, Georgia. Looking at all of those pics is like looking at car ****! . The fastest car I have driven in is my friends 97 supra tt, and stock they run the 1/4mi in 13.1seconds. I cannot comprehend how fast your car must be, just EXTREMELY fast in my opinion. I sure hope you dont get bored with that power anytime soon, and if you do you can just hand her down to me j/k.
Goodluck with her, and keep her in one piece... I need more pics!!!!
Later,
-Justin.
