Well done Jerry, they are TSW Evo's, powder-coated anthracite.
Top of the class for you.

As I have been getting several requests from people wanting to see CK1's new wheels, here is a picci for you all to see.
Once again, many thanks to Josh for the ace pics, and Simon for hosting it.

Cool

Saw them at Brands - very nice....

Got to say - they look a lot better in the flesh (err alloy) than in the pic.

I agree AWD, the pic really doesn't do them justice.
I've just had lunch with Mr Leigh, and they made his 17" Prodrive wheels look small in comparison, which was nice.

Stef,

Fine taste in wheels you have there, just like me

By the way, the wheels are TSW EVO-R's, the -R bit is important because TSW used to do an EVO that doesn't look anything like these.

Just so those scanning 2nd Hand Ads. know

Stef, any idea how well the power-coating is holding up ? TSW told me when I bought mine (year ago ish) that the surface finish would be difficult to power-coat but that they were looking into supplying different colours at a later date. Or did you get these done as a one-off ?

Cheers

Ian

Pedant mode on!
Surely that's a TSW Evo-R ?
Pedant mode off!

Look very nice though ... a welcome understated approach compared to all those gold 'uns!

I know they're EVO-R's, I was just humouring Jerry!

Ian.
They were done as a one-off. Not available in any other colour from TSW (other than a new gold or silver limited edition).

Mike.
Any chance you get eh?

Stef.

Question

do you guys know anywhere I could get
some logo's put on the wheels? I have
seen some pics of the WRC car with ST2s
on with Prodrive and Speedline logo's
on the wheels, look fab. I understand
that they are screen-printed on and then
lacquered?

He's not telling fibs. They made my 17 inch alloys look like tiny 15's

And on anouther note, CK1 is handles and accelerates like a nitrous injected Go-kart.

Excellent Stinging Scorpians

Stef,

Nice wheels mate!
I've been thinking about some 17"s for ages and I'm full of questions now....
What offset are they? Will they fit over the 4-pot calipers on my MY00? What sort of price are we talking for a set in silver?

Cheers

Mojo

CK1 has AP 4-potters, which are a wee bit bigger than the stock 99-00 4-potters.
In other words, yes they'll fit your car.
