Cool

Holly sh*t batman !!

What a fantastic looking bike m8. Wouldn't worry too much about reliability. My mate had an RS250 for years. He had to be very careful with the type of engine oil used, but other than that it was perfect.

Hope it's a great summer for you.

Kwack,

What are these "come problems"? I can imagine it being an exciting ride, but surely not *that* exciting...

Cool

Not too fast yet, got to do 600 miles bedding in and then have it serviced.

As to reliability, like any performance engine with a dry sump, as long as it is warmed up and not driven from cold, the oil changed regularly it will be fine. Just like the Scooby.

Andy,

I had a go on my M8's Mille R yesterday and I've got a question for you - I've got a Thunderace and when I rode the Mille I thought it was *really* slow steering. You really have to "pull it down" into the bends, it just seemed to want to go straight on (and Like I said, I'm used to an 'Ace).

It's got loads of grunt and sounds great but I couldn't live the handling....what do you think? Is yours like this???

Ta,

Matt

Not come it should have been some but never mind@@@@@@@@@ if it was come make sure you get a tank protector so that you don't spoil the paintwork

Looks the bollox - was recently interested in buying one but need it to be reliable for daily commute to work. Onyerbike are doing these at £6995 last years model. Regards to RS250 these have Suzuki engines from RG250

Enjoy

Matt,

I rode the 2000 spec Mille and Mille R and they were slower to steer than my R1, the 2001 spec is much better, still not as quick to steer. I went for the 2001 spec Mille as it is a vast improvement and I love the cool matt paint job.

That's awesome Andy.

I'm a massive Aprilia convert, 50cc AF1 Replica, RS125 Extrema, and now seriously fancy an RS250 or the Mille and I saw an mcn a couple of years ago with preliminary drawings of a stunning RS600 but it seems like they've ditched this. Handling wise the Aprilias I had were simply awesome, especially the Extrema (same chassis as the 250) on Pirelli Dragons.

Only problem now is that after three or four years without riding the no claims are no longer valid and they want 2k insurance for a 600 yeah right!!

Reliability, well erm...the 125 engine was very quick but it blew up at 11,000 kn and then I had it rebuilt with a 175 Malossi kit and it blew up again about 2000km later. I think it was more to do with the stupid dealer putting in wrong temperature spec plugs. 250's and 1000's are allegedly much more reliable. They must be as they now come with a 3yr unlimited mileage warranty, don't they?!

Good luck with it, it looks like a seriously awesome bike!

Must resist temptation...

Matt.

Get stuffed!

The above picture is EXACTLY what I want.
I am keen to hear more about the turn-in however as I thought it was supposed to be pretty much effortless?

I suppose most things will turn in better than my (now departed) Blackbird.

And you can keep quiet as well Birdy!

Mike.
I want one <sob>
