but the question is, is it a mazda 121 or a fiesta? anyhow why did you go and ruin the picture by getting a scoob in the shot???
p.s. can I win a fiver if I hazard a guess at the number plates missing digit??

Hi Iain,
Nice motor. Mines #156, but I haven't gotton round to taking some pics yet.
What mudflaps do you have fitted? and can I ask how much they cost?
Stefan

Jacko,
Whichever way you look at it I spent too much!!!
OK I bought the car nearly a year ago second hand. It was a completely standard car, except for the stereo. For £500 more than the asking price, I got them to supply, fit and paint the Prodrive spoiler, as well as the side skirts, mirrors and orange bits colour coded. I think I got myself a bargain!! (Although you have to bear in mind I'd bought my first car from them, and all the servicing went through them as well)
I already had the ScoobySport downpipe and backbox, and bought a Magnex mid section to go with it (£85). The Unifilter RamPod was a bargain secondhand purchase.
Already had the clear side indicators, and the fronts were bought for it (£75)
Already had the ScoobySport 130w driving lamps.
Second set of aftermarket alloys on the car. Were Anthracite MIM, now 17" P1 alloy wheels (£995).
Side mouldings - £45-ish
Wind deflectors - £65-ish
P1 mudflaps - £18-ish
OMP Strut brace - £35-ish
Just waiting for my Morette twin lamp conversion, (fingers crossed) a set of AP Racing 4-pots and Leda B suspension, before looking at getting it Link'd with Bob!!!
Oh God, I'm glad my girlfriend won't see this!!! She may ask where all these evenings eating out has gone!!!!
Sorry to hi-jack your thread Iain!!
Andy
PS - All I need now is to learn how to drive the car without sticking it in a ditch!!!

sorry about the car next to it! The mudflaps are DIY made from 4mm thick rubber. They are very flexible and do an excellent job protecting the paitwork. Hoping to get an STi 5 or 22B replica spoiler soon but can't decide which. Anyone got any pictures of a similar car and noticed any downsides to a bigger spoiler? Sorry, no prize for guessing the plate!

Squizz, that's an optional upgrade.
I think the RB5 WR has the PPP and the Wing.
Iain, personally I went for the Prodrive wing (but it is a lot of money) I would go for a replica STI 5 wing.
Cheers

Andy,
I just checked out your car on your website, looks good ! Amongst numerous additions required for my scoob, I was thinking of getting the same spoiler and colour coding her up the same as your good self. If you don't mind me asking, How much did the mod's cost you to do completely?
JACKO.

You are right Andy. The Prodrive one is just right and high quality. Second choice is the STi5 I think. Have seen a couple of nice pictures with the replica 22B. I might phone a few dealers to see if they can better my local dealers' £580 plus painting! Can get the STi5 replca from MRT for £220 but need to pay about £100 shipping!

No problem, Andy. Everything you've said is of interest and helpful. The only mod I want for my car now is the spoiler but am a bit worried about buying replica parts and if it's going to be a good fit on the car. Can't see how to fit it robustly when my current spoiler has only 2 fixings that you can see or get to!?
Cheers

Iain,
I think you need to drill some extra holes.
Normally there are 4 bolts/holes for the standard spoiler. Two extra ones are drilled in for the Prodrive WRC wing.
I think the STI be they real or replica, need another 6 (??) holes drilled. One extra each side, by the standard ones, and four extra across the top, where the flat panel sits.

Cheers Andy. Do you know how the standard spoiler fits on 'cos I can only se 1 fixing on each side - the other 2 must be obscured by the inner panel so how do you get to them?

I think there are 2 underneath the rubber stops on either side. I will post a pic here tommorow, from the inside of my boot where the replica STI 5 spoiler has been screwed down.
Hope it helps.
Phil.

Like the STI 5 one / 22b One, but I don't like the brake light being on the bootlid. Looks to me like they stuck a plank on the bootlid with a light in and a spoiler on top.
Liked Andy's one though, hence have my car is booked in for it next month (Cheers Andy, that was a very expensive piccy you posted - for me Lol)

As Phil pointed out, they are under a rubber bung! When they fit the Prodrive spoiler, they drill two extra holes, one on each side, and again use rubber bungs to hide them.
I would double check, but the car is still in the garage!!
Cheers
