Yeah they are 17's they just look bigger a)cos the car is lowered and b) cos the spokes go right to the rim.
Savage is what I was aiming for
The backbox is part of TSL's GroupN system and is highly reccommended.

Krade - you are not wrong mate - I really dislike the wrx brakes, not up to the job IMHO, even on the standard car.

Dunc20 - the latest Eibach springs. Again, highly reccommended, and from my ride this morning on the way back from fitting, they work even better with the lightweight wheels. I'm getting little or no crashing over potholes / expansion joints in the road now, and the car feels like a sprinter on tiptoes.

Gordo - wanted to lower my curb wieght (see last post) and improve the ride. I don't really do track days and prefer flat out bumpy b-roads (moving to bristol to be near exmoor / wales etc) and 17" lightweights are ideal.

Dunc - IIRC its quoted as 20-30mm but I found it more like 35-45mm. Its actually slightly lower than it looks there as I'd just had the wheels fitted so the suspension hadn't fully settled.

Having run Gold wheels for six months or more now, I have turned to the lighter side and got silver wheels make soooo much difference after Gold. The Prob with gold is it only suits the darker colours like Black, DBM and thats about it. Still if someone offerd me some OZ Prodrice wheels in gold I wouldn't say no

Ed,
Wheels look superb mate!
This is one lucky son of bitch WRX. In the last 2 weeks this jammy motor has been treated to APS TMIC, new wheels, Psi3 SECS, big spoiler with a defi boost gauge held back for good behaviour.
Ed, if you don't keep this up, your motor is going to miss the pampering and find some other owner that can guarantee this amount of spoiltness forever!

edcase, i'm glad you like the look of my car, but i can't take any credit. as i said in your other post, the car was ordered by the dealer as an example of some of the prodrive options available.
at least you have the satisfaction of knowing your car looks wicked and it's down to you.

Does anyone think I need subtle tints on my car? Was thinking a 35 grade or something? Not sure if it won't look a little too 'gangsta' for my liking???
Any comments?
