our kid has sent me jpegs from his didg camera that i wanna post but they are MASSIVE.......how can i re-size or where is that post that explains how its done.

The resizing of images will depend on the software which you are using on your PC.

In MS Photo Editor, it is an option, Tools, Resize.

Whichever app you use, do a search for "resize" under help. If you save it as a jpg you also have the option of setting the quality of the image which will also impact on the actual file size.
