Its an MY99 model grill. The car in the picture is an STi V5/6 (MY99 onwards)

Its only standard if you have a Phase2 car, earlier cars don't have this grill.

Yup, thats a post 97 grille. Not sure what the pink UFO is to the right in the photo though
Apparently a similar one was seen at RAF Woodbridge in Suffolk in the 1980's.

you'd know the back end picture better toby as you spent most of your time trying to catch it up rather than seeing the front
yes its mine and its a bog std my99 grille with yellow painted badge and some bad lens covering hence the ufo
