### 492bhp per Tonne ###

Hello Melow,
Proper car (albeit a "baby" engine)...
What is the spec of the engine, as I can only see one fuel rail and it looks as though it is still running a 2wd throttle body and elbow?
With such small wheels, I bet it struggles for traction !
Glad to see you poking a stick in the eye of the Scooby brigade LOL

Mel,
A word of advice, heat wrap the hose from the turbo to intercooler where it is nearest the turbo. If you don't, the turbo will cook this, the hose material will go brittle and will split. I did this to two Samco hoses in as many weeks.
I then got a Nomex one and heat wrapped it and cured the problem.
Also where is the turbo damper? You may find that the manifold will crack without one (see below).

No...I still have the 4x4 here.... I love it sooooo much but wanted some big power However, this 4 x 4 can out perform bigger powered machines easily in the right hands !
Gearbox blew....we then ended up with a Phil Peacock Motorsport box....no problems since
I blew the turbo too....brand new T34 fitted
At the moment it's still for sale but do have a chappie who wants to swap me for his Mitsi twin turbo GTO 1994 with a private reg....

Chris,
I've got some pics of your ex Settle machine somewhere in my photos. At Harewood Hillclimb where I used to compete against it. Used to go bloody well. Some fab photos of it coming out of the Farmhouse Complex with smoke pouring out of the wheel arches. I never actually drove it... apart from sitting in it and helping move it around his garage place and that really wasn't the same !
The noise it made on full boost used to be awesome, you could tell it was boosting "well" !
Oh yeah & if your interested in a collection of 4x4's I know of another Settle machine which belonged to another hillclimber which makes it look tame. The other car which I don't know if its for sale 100% but I can find out if you want is WAY WAY WAY quicker.... Very well prepared, and truely immacualte. Let me know if you are interested and I get possibly get some digi-cam photos taken this weekend.
Cheers
Mark
