Subaru Impreza Type R - yeah almost finished now!

Well the realocation of the power steering has now been complete, ap 6pots have been fitted, and I have also added a few styling extras
All that needs to be done now is fit the hks earth kit, and get an updated map from br developments.
I will also need to take another picture of the car at night time to show something else that has been done - so I will post them up later!
On to the pictures:

Christian,
I would suggest that you run the fuel pressure regulator manifold pressure rerference line directly from a manifold port, rather than sharing the port with the shiney dump valve.
If the HKS dump valve mechanism fails, it might be possible that it will open the signal line to the atmosphere, therefore denying the FPR its manifold pressure reference source, thus limiting the fuel pressure to that set for atmosheric, thus leaning it out, melting pistons and requiring another crate from oz to replace it. This is how Power Engineering accidentally destroyed my original STI engine the first time. The fuel pressure reg feed was not sucured, so it popped open to atmo pressure, then engine went lean and then bye bye.
Run the FPR from its own manifold port, to be safe.

Strongly endorse Morays comments, in fact you are already in trouble as the HKS bov does not have a sound vac seal around the adjuster and will already be bleeding pressure and vac off the reg. Re-position to the map sensor pipewrok and tee off that if there is nowhere else.

P1 - it is an STI Chrome Petrol Cap.
Nitosport sell them http://www.nitosport.co.uk
I only purchased the STI Kickplates from them, but I can highly recommend them!

Well it stopped raining so popped out and took two pictures.
I purchased The KoolGlo Pro Neons in Purple from Phil (Salsaking/Neoquip). He does quite a few different colours, so go take a look: www.neoquip.com.

Christian, are you using the original fuel pressure regulator still on it's stock place, and just using the new regulator after it (two regulators in series effectively) ????? ..... or just using the new regulator ?????
