Scuse my ignorance but is it true with light modification a scoob engine (2.2) can be used in light aircraft ??
and im not suggesting anything just curious

A scoob engine could be used in a Homebuilt aircraft but wouldnt get certification for a mass produced plane (Porsche tried it once for Mooney Aircraft and it was never very successful) The engine ( above) is a 9 litre air-cooled flat six producing about 300 BHP at 2700 RPM. They are used almost constantly at 75% power. The equivalent would be running your scoob at 6000 RPM the whole time. I wonder how long it would last?
