The steering wheel will be replaced, hopefully a 968 club sport one, failing that a 3 spoke momo.
When I am comfortable with the car, I will get the 300bhp upgrade.

I'm just curious but won't a 12 YO Porker land you with some nasty bills? Car looks well and at least it ain't white Nice plate too did it come with the car or the previous owner keep it?
Hope you're either single or have a sensible enough woman not to wrap it around a tree on the first corner!

Well for starters.
Insurance is half of the Impreza. Brake pads £50, brake discs £50, does more miles to the gallon too. Its not as expensive to own one as you think......but don't tell everyone!
I personally dont think it will cost any more than the Impreza to maintain.
Don't be afraid of rear wheel drive, it has perfect 50/50 weight distribution as they have put the gear box at the back of the car.

0-60 is not that important but its 5.5 secs I think.
I say not important as I wanted a better car for track days and trips to the Nurburgring, 0-60 is only important for pub talk and traffic light GP's!
You do the math though, once moving this is EVO and P1 performance....
