OK, so I have bought this car and now don't like the mud flaps!! Any suggestions?!

Is it a MY94?
If it is it could be a WRX SA (very rare!!!) only sold in 94.
It was a lightwieght model, simalar to the RA saloons. (They didn't get sideskirts either).
If the mud flaps are Pink they are most likely to be STI ones!!

Check the applied mode code (found on a plate under the bonnet) to the SIDC faq. The code for the SA (and WRX)was GF8B58D for the MY94.
Keep the mudflaps, they make look a bit naff but they'll preserve the sides of the car.

It's Miss actually!! I know, bloody woman driver in a Scooby shouldn't be allowed!! If you do ever see the car, me fella might be driving (have to let him have a go sometimes!! Skinhead, tattoo's, prob notice him before the car. I'll tell him to wave, although I have no bloody idea what you/your motor looks like!!)
I'm usually around Stapleford, Long Eaton, Beeston, sometimes Ilson!! Travel into Nottm everyday.

I'll keep a look out, Mines a Dark Blue Mica (DBM) saloon, a big SUBARU in the windscreen, silver wheels and big spoiler

I agree they look awfull.
1 Sell them to a red scooby owner.
2 Take them off.
3 Have them sprayed a different colour with flexible plastic
paint.

Don't know why it has got no side skirts. Should it have?! It's an import if that's got anything to do with it. Did like the mud flaps when I first saw it but they have faded really badly and look pink now!! My other half wants to take them off completely but I want to change them and wondered what options are open other than buying a new set! Thanks for the suggestions.

It's been registered over here as a 95 but the garage thought it was a 93 so who knows?!?!?! It'd be nice if it was one of the rare ones but i'd guess no such luck!!! Any idea how to find out? I'm taking it into TSL on Sat for a once over. Would they know do you think?!

I think it could be an SA. I've not seen any other wagons without sideskirts. I take it there aren't any holes in the sills to fit the skirts????

Looks identical to my MY94 manual WRX (except for the mud flaps and lack of side skirts). Color coded mirrors but black door handles.
Mine has color coded skirts but i don't know if they came as standard. Out of curiosity... what kind of seats do you have?? no buckets in mine

Well, a revelation!! My Scooby is a one off (me thinks!) It's a WRX SA MANUAL!! All were auto but not mine! Oh, I'm so proud!!!

Car is ok. TSL looked at it. Seems I have we have got ourselves a bargain! Just a few bits need doing. Back there on Fri for lazer alignment! Can't keep away from the place now!
