Well finally! Ive got myself a nice set of rims! Huuuuuge ones at that!!!

Been waiting for the 18" Diablos to be made at the factory but when ringing Trouser for an update he kindly informed me these babys were up for grabs after the photoshoot!

Im so impressed with the ride also! NIL catching or owt! I was scared it may ride like a scateboard but its bang on! Just have to watch out for nasty pot holes and grates with the 35 profile! Ouch!

The photos dont quite do them justice and show just how sweet they look!! But it is only a 40 quid digital camera with pics taken in a hurry!!

You will also notice the rear light cluster tiniting mod which is a piece is p1ss to do and only took an hour and 14squid! Going to tint the side and front repeaters this weekend to toally de-tango t'old Scoob!

When i get a new camera il attempt some better photies! Until then heres what I took this avi!.....

Once again thanks to Trouser at TSL!!! Cheers mate, the car is transformed!

Next... an StiV spoiler me thinks.

omen , the car looks great and those wheels are nice. I have yet to buy my subaru but i am looking at the silver. I think that this has tipped the scales to the silver way.

Arghhhh! Got to type all this again! Clicked back the forward again and.... gone! Doh! Well here goes!....... Lesson learnt! Knew i should had copied it!

Thanks for the comments peeps! Very compimentary. Im right chuffed with the wheels but im kacking myself every time i leave the car! Shame, but thats how the world is today!

Forgot to tell you about other mods. Well all its had upto now are the rear lights tinted, the magnex full decat system - 3" from front to back and a nice 6x4 oval to finish it off at the back. Under the bonnet is a K&N induction kit. In future i want the Sti V spoiler, bigger brakes, VTA dump valve, tints and better ICE.

In reply to comments:

Silver: Ive always liked silver cars. I used to have an Escort 1.6EFi Sport which i converted to a Cossie replica. Looked the dogs danglies but was easy fodder for the boy racers thinking it was a real cossie. Different story now! Got the bits under the bonnet now as well as the looks! hehe

Heres a pic of the Cossie... Nice but nothing compared to the scoob! I got back almost every penny i ploughed into it - including the asking price, 'Which was nice!' Trouser - these are the Team Dynamics i was on about.....

Tyres: Please dont remind me!!! £147+vat i think Trouser said! ouch! Like buying a set of allies every year! BUT... if you had a nice suit you wouldnt wear dirty old shoes would you now!!! Thats my justification anyway - that and 0% balance transfer rates / never pay off credit cards!!

7 foot: Go for 19s man! You know you want to!!! Virgin/egg/MBNA are all doing 0% at the mo!

Trouser: Cheers bud! Wonder if they will be here tomorrow or monday?

Right tinting the front and side repeaters tomorrow so might post some more pics up....

Until then chow!

Omen
PS: If anyone's got any of the bits i want (VTA Dump Valve or STiV Spoiler >> pref in silver) let me know! Email in profile...

Exclamation

Trouser - not sure about dropping it.... ride is ok as it is and dont want to make it any harsher than the 19s have (even though it is quite good!) Also, i dont want to restrict my driving style much more! Ive already had to calm down a bit to make sure i dont damage the wheels on shoddy roads etc!

Omen - Whats the exact size of the wheel?? is it 8x19?? and whats the tyre's??

Trouser - how far could you lower the car running on 19's??? An how much for a set of 18 or 19" wheels and tyres ie Diablos or any other you stock for a classic shape scooby.

Cheers

Doug...

Soz about the late reply. Not checked the thread for a while. Trouser @ TSL is the man for the exact details on wheel size but the tyres are Pirelli P-Zero nero 215/40/19 if im not mistaken. Look at the tsl website - all data is on there i think.
