Nice project!
Question:
Why did you made the "cold" boostpipe after the intercooler bigger in diameter then the "hot" boostpipe before the intercooler? IMHO must it be in reversed order. Now you suffer from unnecessary lag.
Kind regards,
Gert-Jan

Hello M8,
I've also got a Type R V4 and i thought that was quick, your's sounds like an absolute animal!!!!
Go for it!!!
Let us know what sort of figures it puts out after you get it on a RR.

stevencotton - had it on rolling road, did 322torque/360bhp at 0.95bar - the samco pipe was collapsing. This is still in the process of being changed. The car will be running 1.8-2bar of boost when the custom pipe has been made.
David - no I didn't - my local garage did
GTJ - that is the way the pace unit comes - and I don't notice any lag from the 2.5litre engine!
Dizzy - i don't believe it is that much heavier if at all?
etam - I had the option of what compression ratio I could go for. I decided to stick to the standard subaru compression ratio for all round reliability. The block has been made to be closed deck.
Sorry for the long delay in answering these questions btw!!!

OK why are you ripping out the EJ20 for a the finicky EJ25? Most here IMO would rather pull out the NA EJ25 and swap in the EJ20. Sure the 2.5L can be nice but also can be a detonating pain in the ****. Least on this side of the Atlantic.
