After getting the spoilers and splitter about six months, with the assistance of the chaps at AWD Motorsport I've finally got around to fitting 'em to the car And if I may say so, it looks rather tasty now. But first a history lesson:

As the car was when I got it four years ago.

And now:

Tasty!

Rare as hen's teeth

Very nice Miles,

especially like that back spoiler. The twin headlights should make up for the non-green scoop, that always made you easy to spot on the road.

Is that a sticker below the indicator, or just a reflection?

Mike.

Well spotted - it's a AWD Motorsport sticker They also popped a couple on the front wings, just below the indicators.

At last we see that wind will flow through those rear Sti twin spoilers again. Looks Great..and brings back good memories.
The 5-door does stand out from the crowd and looks the dogs with em on. Those lights look damn good too. Well done.

Does the lower one of the two spoilers really do anything down there? The top one looks damn fine but I'm not keen on lower ones on any kind of 'wagon' shaped motor

Jools - I thought you'd be pleased to see your spoilers on the car. Been on now for about six weeks.

Mook - does it do anything, yep, it looks good! (IMHO)

Miles,

The sti front splitter outer sections on your car have the black rubbers been painted....? Preveouse owner on mine painted the rubber and its all peeling off. just wondered what it looks like all black, and how easy it is to remove the two outer sections so i can remove the paint off the black rubbers. Do have any pics that show the rubbers.

Sorry, I don't - the splitter was sprayed and fitted at the same time (the car was muli-coloured enough at the time ). The genuine STi front splitter, like mine, is made from plastic - not fibreglass or rubber. Although I have been considering painting the side skirts and rear skirts myself....
