Default 2009 330s - New Member!

Hi everyone, I’ve just acquired this 330s and wondered if anyone knows anything about it?

Fairly good service history, wheels look like they have just been refurbed and brand new Michelin Pilot Sports.. Brakes are new too.

I’ve spotted some jobs to do so will be busy for a while.

Yeah I think so, from what I’ve seen so far. I was hoping someone might know the car, we shall see.
The gearbox has quite abit of chatter if you aren’t abit higher up the rpms coming out a roundabout or corner, and also some slight whines but I don’t know if the mounts have been changed. I’ll change the oil first. My classic has a 5spd so new to the 6 spd.

Ive spotted a dry coolant leak which looks like from the timing belt area so I’ve got a belt kit and water pump from RCM ready to fit. Hopefully it’s nothing more sinister for now..

Could be harder mounts, or lightened flywheel. Could also just be the linkage vibrating and needs tightening, that's the first to check as can be done from inside the car.

Sound like the issue that I have with mine which is likely to be the main input shaft bearing which I am yet to fix. Worth checking if it makes the noise with the clutch depressed or whether it goes away.
