Default 555 WRX TYPE RA mini restoration

I sold this RA back in 2018 and recently got it back but it was in a bit of a sorry state and needed a fair bit of work doing , sills had been crushed by Jack’s and stuff so iv had that all sorted and the outside painted ,, thinking about the underside next to match my type R lol

It would have been in restored condition when it left you because thats what you do. But I'm interested in how bad of a state it was in when you got it back with it only being 2 or so years later.

And mate what are you playing at thought you were taking it easy

lol I am taking it easy mate ,, this one was off being done before I had any issues

it was mainly due to something weird happing with the paint and the entire car paints cracking ,, looked like the sun had got to it or something ,,, it was there very slightly when I had it but only on the roof but by the time I got it back the whole car was like it ,, plus someone had crushed the sills in with a jack so I had them cut away and bars put behind so that is anyone does try it again they dont crush next time lol

That is weird, do you think it was relaquered at some point.

Noticed you don't have got lamps covers, have you got them, if not do you know where you can get originals.

And what have I just seen, rare blue classic seats

possible mate but honestly not sure about the paint lol ,, iv got fog covers for it but they are only copy’s , originals are silly money these days , plus the WRX RA like mine came with the fog lights so iv got them in the boot

yes the blue 555 seats come in this one

Right you are Dom, forgot about that. Few genuine sets on ebay but at about £300+ no thank you.

Those seats, I like.

plan is to sell at some point in the near future ,, either when someone offer enough for me to sell , or iv done enough for someone to want it whatever comes first really lol ,, next plan was to do a full restore on the underside but that will of course bump the price up by a fair bit once completed

iv still got a few bits to mess about with in the engine bay then im going to see about booking it in for the next stage

Yes he actually messaged me on facebook about that one. I would consider any all blue varient such as those, keen on the 555 though. However I at least need them to be a pair otherwise that would be perfect. Painting my 2 door chase yellow, I think they would be a great touch to the car. Love yours it looks great.

Belt and braces. Glad you've posted, was worried the Evo had turned you. Hope you're back to good health too.
I chatted to folks on your stand at Coombe the other week; shame I missed you.
