New Blitz Air Filter!!!
#1
A lot of you asked me to put some details up once we had the new filter in place. So here it goes:
It features Blitz's new gauze filter for the best filtration and the alloy sheild helps keep hot air out. It utilises the OEM cold air ram from the front of the bonnet on the GDBs.
So far we have been very impressed, it has given a good power increase throughout the rev range. I have not had chance to put the car on the rollers yet with the new filter on, but you certainly can feel the difference!
The sound amplifies the turbo (which is nice because I forgot I had one since fitting the new exhaust!) also you can hear the waste gate chatter now, for that WRC type effect!
It is only available for the new style Impreza in the Subaru range.

What is the actual filtration of the filter - I had a Blitz filter a while back which also claimed "best filtration" - but in fact, it didn't. it was 20 microns or something - enough for dust to easily get past - have they changed the mesh now?

LOL - Warranty went a while back!
Yep the mesh has changed now to a gauze instead of stainless filter, filtration is up there with ITG and K & N of below 10 microns, which is as good as a filter realistically needs or gets.
