Default What is the metal bracket inside my engine bay that's covered in rust

It's the rusty bracket near the bulkhead
It's a long flat bracket that sits under the brake pipes on the air filter side. It seems to have two almost flat large nuts holding it down. I want to take it off and powder coat it. I'm not sure what it is for or how to remove it, can anyone help

Hi, thanks for the quick reply. Where can I get the software to identify the part numbers for other items I need please? Where in the UK can I buy this part, my local Subaru dealer want crazy prices for parts? I have bought from ICP before, but they don't stock this. Do you happen to know what strength of press I would need to replace my front and rear wheel bearings?

kind regards

Neil
