Hi,

I bought my first Scooby a few months ago. Really wanted the STI model but couldn't find one with my budget. So I want to build this to look like one.

It looked like this when i bought it:


The first thing I wanted to improve was the soundsystem. Even I love the boxer sound it sounded really crappy. So I replaced the original 2din player with a pioneer 1din flip player. Also painted the cebtre console matte black just with plastidip. Then I installed a subwoofer and amp in the trunk.

The next thing in my list was the exterior. The look when I bought it was pretty much original but I wanted it a bit lower. So I bought carbon splitter and STI spoiler (which I havent fitted yet). Then bought Tein lowering springs and Eibach 20mm spacers for the summer wheels as well.

Imo looks way better now but the next thing is to replace those crappy looking foglight covers to the proper plastic ones and fit the spoiler as well. Need to get the arches rolled as well. Then I have a new Afterburner vortex catback coming and I'm going to remowe the upper cat as well for mapping later next month. Please comment and if u have any ideas what I could do more plz tell me

 

Ordered some new wheels. Found a set of Japan Racing jr-5 wheels in hyperblack color with a good deal! Still waiting for fog lights covers, catback exhaust, carbon wing mirror covers and some other stuff to arrive. Hopefully at least the exhaust arrives before the mapping on friday next week!

 

So finally had the scooby mapped this morning. Around 280bhp and over 400nm. Still waiting for the new wheels. Should be here next week. Waiting for the spoiler and the foglight covers too from the painter.
