So, bringing this back up from the dead but as Alain asked about, would really like to see some pictures of the tank set up, where it's located and the rest of the fit?

If you have a gc8 the rcm underbonnet tank fits really nice... Rcm dry sump kit has been revised so different to one above... Its a 4 stage scavenge setuo now with a Auto Verdi pump.

Actually just finished install on mine yesterday... Heres a few random pics.

Thanks Bud, I really appreciate that, some great pictures and it really shows where it is located and how well it fit’s in the engine bay 👍 I’ve been corresponding with Olly from RCM over the last few days and I think I’m going to go with their tank 😃

Just a couple of pointers..

If your running an oil cooler it will need to be an12 fittings

And you will need a 6 speed starter motor

Oh and 4 point whiteline underbody brace wont fit with it..

Okay, surely you would spec the fittings to suit? Or are you saying that because it comes with AN12's?

6 speed because it's smaller/different body size/configuration?

And I don't have one of them

I had an10 lines and oil cooler... All the lines on rcm kit are an12... The oil cooler is fitted on return to tank line so would be pointless dropping it to an10...made sense too change cooler to an12

Yes 6 speed much narrower design... 😉 My 5 speed fouled the tank.

Oh and the dry sump design wont work with equal lenght headers... Or at least the rcm/gt spec ones.

You will also need some fire sleeve for the tank lines as they run quite close to headers.

Think thats it 👍
